Our Toorbul ride (north of Brisbane, in Queensland Australia)

This was always going to be a short ride. Toorbul isn’t that large of a place. It was fantastic to get our legs moving on the bikes again. After spending a number of days driving down from Cairns (1700ish KM) any ride was appreciated.

We are still playing with methods of displaying information. This is a simple screen grab of a Google Map. I don’t think it has enough information on it, so we will have to work on other methods. I have thought about using the iPhone, however the battery draw is fairly severe. Hmmmm more thought required here.

One end of the trip is at Ningi creek. Again I was playing with technology. This image is taken with my iPhone and the writing placed on it with an App. Girls feeling the heat. It is hot, no breeze, little shade.

One end of Toorbul has massive numbers of migratory birds. Currently they are feeding up for the long tip over the world.

Not this bloke. He was watching us ride past.
